Belfair Towne Village is a grocery-anchored shopping center containing a 55,696 square foot Kroger Supermarket and in-line space containing 41,640 square feet; a bank/office building containing 10,826 square feet and a medical office building that contains 9,978 square feet.

Belfair Towne Village was developed with an eye toward a Low Country architectural style that dramatically sets it apart from all other retail developments in the market. Belfair Towne Village was the first development in the Route 278 corridor to successfully pass through all approval phases of the revised Beaufort County design standards. The design use of a “town square” setting, with brick, canopies, painted façade and landscaping has created an exciting retail and dining experience that was not found elsewhere in the Hilton Head market prior to Belfair Towne Village.

Along with Batson-Cook Development Company, development partners for Belfair Towne Village were The 1811 Company and Fasseck Venture Corp. Batson-Cook Development Company has controlled all aspects of the development of Belfair Towne Village from the initial land acquisition to the sale of the center in 2003.
